Product Liability

A products liability claim is typically the result of a manufacturing defect, design defect, or a failure to adequately warn of risks associated with the product. When someone is injured as a result, choosing the right attorney can make all the difference and will have lasting effects.

If you have been injured by what you believe to be a defective product, seek medical assistance as quickly as possible. Explain to your medical provider exactly what happened so that they can best treat your injuries. Once treatment begins, save everything you can from the product you believe is defective.  Save the package, purchase receipt, any instruction manuals and the product itself.

Photographs of the product and your injuries will also be critical in the successful pursuit of your injury claim.  If there are witnesses to what happened, securing statements from them is another important piece of evidence necessary to pursue your claim.

A products liability claim will most often involve more than one corporate defendant who is well experienced and prepared to defend the case. You should have an attorney who is equally prepared to represent you against corporate entities. An attorney who is representing you will need experts to explain the defective product as well as your injuries.
